Basic Home Watch Services consist of:
Upon Arrival -- Perform Exterior Inspection
- Turn on main water valve
- Walk entire perimeter of home
- Check for obvious roof damage
- Check for any signs of forced entry/vandalism
- Check for any storm damage (tree limbs, debris)
- Ensure landscape service has been maintained, sprinkler system damage
- Visual check of pool water level and water condition
- Check pool screen and cage for forced entry, debris damage
- Visual check of outside (pool/sprinkler) equipment for obvious malfunction
- Visual check of ground for insect infestation, rodent presence
Followed By -- Interior Inspection
- Visual check with flashlight for signs of water damage (including closet/pantry/storage area ceilings)
- Flush all toilets
- Run water in sinks, tubs, and showers
- Short cycle dishwasher (once per month)
- Check for signs of insects or rodents and remove any dead bugs found
- Verify A/C is working properly
- Check circuit breaker panels and reset any tripped breakers
- Ensure security system is working
- Check temperature of refrigerator, freezer, and wine cooler (if left on) check for mold/mildew if turned off
- visual check garage (including trash) and secure outside door
Upon Departure
- Enable security system and securely lock entry door
- Turn off main water supply
- Check mailbox for flier/junk mail
- Write complete report to be submitted within 24 hours.
